Celebrities with Keratosis Pilaris

As many of you know, with one out of every three people (or four people, depending on what which study you read) in world having keratosis pilaris, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that there are a lot of well known (and even A list) celebrities that have KP. Now as Hollywood goes, of course there will be very few celebrities that will openly and publicly admit that they have keratosis pilaris, which is a too bad as celebrities who publicly announced that they have KP could really help to raise awareness about the condition.

While there are very few celebrities who have openly stated that they have keratosis pilaris, there are many that have been speculated to have KP by many online writers. This normally comes from paparazzi photos (taken on days when the celebrity in question isn’t overly made up). A few of them seem to actually show the symptoms of KP more then others, and with the above mentioned statistics, it’s very probable that at least a few of them do have KP.

The most well known confirmed celeb with keratosis pilaris is Nicole Kidman, while another household name is Duane Johnson, also known as “The Rock”. Drea de Matteo, most well known for playing Matt LeBlanc’s sister in the now cancelled TV show ‘Joey’ also has KP along with Michelle Rodriguez and Keira Knightly.

Some of the unconfirmed celebrities who are suspected of having KP are Emma Stone, Cameron Diaz Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, and Ian Somerhalder from the TV show ‘The Vampire Diaries’. Again, these celebs haven’t openly stated that they have KP, but they’ve been suspected of it for quite a few years.

Recently, an all natural treatment for keratosis pilaris has been getting a lot of national media attention. Many people are attributing their being KP free to this new system, which uses commonly available ingredients that can be bought at any grocery store. You can learn more about it here.
