Healthy eating tips for people with keratosis pilaris:

If you have keratosis pilaris, it's important to get plenty of protein (lean meats especially) as well as lots of the various vitamins and minerals in vegetables. An easy rule to follow is to eat as many colors as possible: For example, red peppers, green broccoli, yellow squash, etc. Most vegetables of the same color contain a lot of the same nutrients, so by eating a rainbow of different colored vegetables, you're making sure that you're getting the whole spectrum of healthy vitamins and minerals that you're skin needs. This helps to prevent keratosis pilaris outbreaks, and helps to keep your skin young and healthy, with a healthy, youthful glow.
